Markets
Reference markets, assessed lane by lane.
These origins and destination groups define enquiry scope. Candidate counterparties and each proposed lane are assessed for the specific order before acceptance; listing a market does not represent supplier availability or prior service.

Origins
Supplier identification
Candidate factories and trading counterparties are researched and assessed for each brief using capability evidence, certification records, and verifiable shipment references where available.

Method
Corridors selected on trade-flow evidence
Product lanes are drawn from customs-declared trade flows at six-digit tariff depth — where producers, importers, and workable margins actually sit. A lane is proposed because the data supports it, not because a catalogue needs moving.
- 01
Landed cost, computed before it is quoted
Each corridor is priced with in-house cost models — duties, VAT treatment, port and terminal charges, carbon-border obligations, risk surcharges. The figure quoted is the full landed cost, not a freight indication with the fiscal consequences left for arrival.
- 02
Routes engineered across four modes
Sea, road, rail, and inland waterway are planned and compared corridor by corridor with the desk's own routing models — and stress-tested against chokepoint disruption and war-risk scenarios before commitment, not re-priced after the event.
- 03
Verification as a gate, not a service
Sanctions screening across the EU, OFAC, UN, UK, and French registers, forced-labour exposure, and origin traceability are cleared before any commercial reliance. A counterparty that fails the gate is not traded with — at any margin.
Rail and inland waterway can be compared where corridor and carrier availability permit. For a proposed routing, an ISO 14083-aligned carbon estimate and mode-shift option are included only where the underlying data and feasibility support them.
Bonategia owns and operates no vessels, rolling stock, barges, trucks, warehouses, or terminals. For each accepted order, physical transport is contracted with independent providers selected and qualified for that specific lane.
