Purpose and commercial role

Scope of the trading company

Bonategia operates as an international B2B trading company under French SASU legal form, subject to corporate tax (IS). Engagements are formalised through bilateral commercial contracts on a per-order basis.

Commercial terms — including price, quantity, lead time, certifications, Incoterms, and risk transfer — are agreed in writing for each engagement and form the sole basis of the contractual relationship between the parties.

For an accepted order, Bonategia is the bilateral commercial counterparty. Sourcing, written terms, qualification, and documentation are coordinated for that order; physical transport is performed by independent providers under the agreed terms.

Services

Accountable operating model

  1. Supplier verification

Vetting framework with hard gates on origin traceability, sanctions screening against EU consolidated, OFAC SDN, UN Security Council, UK HMT and the French Registre national des gels, and forced-labour risk before any commercial reliance.

  2. Transaction execution

A proposed bilateral transaction is coordinated only after written terms are accepted. Each order remains subject to its contract, approvals, and qualified counterparties.

  3. Documentation coordination

Trade documentation packs — certificates of origin, conformity records, customs paperwork — assembled per applicable documentary standards.

Built in-house

The cost models, routing engines, and screening systems above are developed and maintained in-house — not licensed from a forwarder or resold from a marketplace — and are designed to govern each accepted order. Bonategia remains the commercial and documentary point of coordination, while independent providers perform physical transport under the agreed order.

Bonategia owns and operates no vessels, rolling stock, barges, trucks, warehouses, or terminals. For each accepted order, physical transport is contracted with independent providers selected and qualified for that specific lane.
